CAP Compensation and Benefits

Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage: Blue Cross Blue Shield® of Illinois (BCBSIL)

The CAP is proud to offer employees two medical plans (PPO and a High Deductible Health Plan) that not only provide coverage for illness and injury, but also enable you and your family to focus on staying well.

Flexible Spending Program

The CAP offers Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) as well as Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

Life and AD&D Benefits

Basic Life and AD&D Coverage: We help our eligible employees maintain financial security by providing a company paid group life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) benefit. In addition, we offer the following employee options:

  • Supplemental life and AD&D coverage
  • Whole Life with Long-Term Care (LTC)

Disability Coverage

The CAP offers eligible employees short-term disability (STD) and long-term disability (LTD).

401(K) and Retirement Plan

The CAP offers employees a 401(k) and Retirement Plan that helps you prepare for your financial future. This Plan allows employees to defer a portion of their pre-tax earnings through payroll deductions as well as a company match.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

The CAP’s PTO program allows employees to take time off from work for a variety of reasons including vacation, personal business, or illness. PTO time is accrued with each payroll based on length of service.

Holidays

The CAP provides ten (10) paid holidays per year.

Paid Volunteer Time

The CAP offers up to two paid days per year for your participation in volunteer activities.

Paid Family Leave

The CAP offers paid family leave for specific qualifying events.

Flexible Work Program
